3 months/90 days.

My little sugar pie Matyx is already 3 months old. Yesterday was her 3 months birthday. I can't believe how big she is getting. She gets bigger and bigger by the day. It makes me a little bit sad. We have been super busy lately. I am back at work. Just part time, and its nice because I can take her with me. I am a little big nervous about her being there as winter is coming and all the yucky flus that will be making their rounds, so I might be changing that routine fairly soon.

We hung out with our friends Blake and Kara on Friday night. They have a little girl that was born one day before Max. Max is SO MUCH BIGGER than her. It makes me sad! But she seems so much older than Max to me. It is so weird how different they are!

Matyx Mckell Moser

She is FINALLY here! Matyx Mckell Moser was born July 17, 2009 at 3:09 p.m. She weighed 6lbs 2oz and was 19 in long! We love her so much! I never thought she would ever get here. It felt like it was taking forever, and now here she is and she is THE BEST thing that has EVER happened to me. Labor wasn't so much fun and neither is the recovering, but it is worth it by a long shot! On Wednesday I went in to my doctors appointment and my doctor stripped my membranes again. She said I still hadn't dialated anymore, but that I was 95% effaced. As soon as we got in the car to leave the doctors I started having really consistent contractions. During that day they got worse and closer together, and that night we went to my parents and took about an hour long power walk. By the time we were done my contractions were 3 minutes apart and pretty painful. (Little did I know.... I hadn't seen nothing yet.) So we went home and got in bed and at about 3:30 I finally decided to wake Chase up and make him take me to the hospital. So they checked us all in and put me on the monitor and at about 6 that morning the nurse came in and told me that I wasn't dialating and that they were sending me home. I cried. I was so disappointed and I thought for sure that was it. So we went home and I got some rest.

Later that afternoon (Thursday) we went to visit our friend Blake and Kara who just had their new baby girl that morning. Kara went a week past her due date and ended up having a C-section. It made me more impatient and more mindful of my persisting contractions. We headed out to Murray to watch my cousin Nichelle play softball and got home around 11 p.m. Again at 3 that morning I woke up and the pain had TRIPLED. So I stuck it out for fear of being sent home again and then finally at 7 I called the hospital and talked to a labor and delivery nurse who told me that I was too early to be in labor and to stick it out till my doctors appointment at 11 that morning. I was so mad. I called my doctors office and asked if they could see me any earlier and they told me that my doctor was in surgeries till 11 and was only coming in for my ultrasound. Chase's sister Anisha called me and talked to me and told me that she could tell by the sound of my voice that I needed to go in. So despite what the hospital nurse told me, we went in again, and had them put me on the monitor. That was at about 9 Friday morning. My contractions continued to worsen. At 11:15 my doctor came in and said... "We are going to keep you. I will break your water and we will start you on a little bit of pitocin and you can get your epidural whenever you want it." NOW!!!!!" haha. After she broke my water it was about 45 minutes till I got my epidural. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE FELT MORE PAIN THAN THAT. When I first got to the hospital the contractions were only about a minute long... I could wait it out and it didn't seem so long. That all changed. They were lasting so much longer and hurt so bad I couldn't even think. The epidural wasn't bad and totally worth it.

My doctor told me she wasn't counting on her coming till about 11 that night since it was my first so the nurse would keep checking me and she was going to go home. I was only at a 3 so she figured she had a good while. At 2 the nurse checked me again and I was at a 6, so we were thinking maybe at about 5 that night she would be there. At 2:40 she came in and checked me again and her face went pale. She said, YOU ARE COMPLETE! DON'T MOVE YOUR LEGS! I panicked. COMPLETE? AH!!!! So they started getting everything ready and the doctor rushed back and at 3:09 my little sugar bean was born. She is beautiful and I love her so much.

I have never had anyone come into my life that I knew that I loved right off the bat. She didn't need to do anything to earn it or prove to me she wanted it, or earn my trust. I just knew that I loved her more than anything else in the world and all the pain and tears were more than worth it. Losing all my sleep and sacrificing my body and sanity is nothing when I get to hold her and she opens her big blue eyes and I know that there is no one else in the whole world who gets to be what I am to her. HER MOMMY!

Chase is such an amazing dad. I can't even believe howfast he stepped up to the plate. He couldn't wait to change her diaper and loves to hold her and talk to her. I knew he would be amazing but he surprised me by just how amazing he is. I love him so much and so glad that he is in my life.

She is growing and changing so much and everyday I love her more and more. Here are a few of the pictures that I have so far, but I am sure there will be many more to come!

Update, Upgrade.

AH!!!! STILL dialated to a 2 and 90% effaced. I went into the doctor today and she stripped my membranes in hopes of moving things alot a bit faster. If my water doesn't break by Wednesday then I will go in to get them stripped again, and again on Friday if I still haven't gone into labor. I may possibly be leaking amniotic fluid so they want to do an ultrasound on Friday if I haven't had her by then and that is the soonest they can get me in. Needless to say, Chase and I go on long walks and never take the elevator. I am so ready to be done!!! JUST GET HER OUT OF ME!!!! AH!!!!

On the bright side of things, I FINALLY finished her nursery and I love it. I just sit in there for hours! And I know some of you are waiting for pictures so here they are... Befores and afters!

Doctors Appointment

Today I had the first of my weekly check ups till my little Matyx gets here. I asked my doctor about early induction or at least induction at 39 weeks a few weeks ago and she said it all depended on if I was dialating or effacing at 35 weeks. So I went into my appointment a little bit anxious today. AND THE NEWS WAS......
I am dialted to a 1 and 80% effaced! WOOHOO!!!! I was all excited about it until I called my aunt Sheila and she told me that she walked around dialated to a 3 and 80% effaced with Janessa... boo. But I guess I should just be patient because after all it IS still a while before my due date. I am starting to get so nervous! Every little pain that I feel I get more and more nervous! We have so many trips and family parties planned these next few weeks I hope she doesn't come at too inconvenient of a time like while we are up the canyon or in Idaho or something. I guess we will have to be a little picky about where we go and when we go! I am stressing the 15 minute drive to the hospital from our house, I think Chase might have to throw Dr. to the front of his name if it was any longer!
The baby room is almost done, just a few more finishing touches and then i will take some pictures and post them.
I had a baby shower on Saturday at my Mom's house, so as soon as Sheila emails me those pictures I will post them as well. Until then!

Ketchup...Catsup...Catch Up. =]

WOW! I am such a flippin slacker! So much has happened and I have been shurking my duties on my blog. So now is the time to catch up... though I am not sure anyone even looks at this dang thing anymore... Oh well it is nice to vent I guess.
Me and Chase have been quite busy I suppose. I guess its a nice prelude to the super busy summer we have ahead of us. About a month ago we went camping in Delle, Utah with Chase's friend Rick and his family. We played around on the Razors and the Mules and it was a pretty fun time. It was quite the random camping spot. Just a bunch of trailers gathered closely together in the middle of a big dry field. But perfect for the recreational activities I guess! The first week in June was the girls' dance recital. Chase and I went and watched them and they did such a great job. They are both so cute and such good little dancers. My grammy and grampy came and watched as well and then we went and celebrated afterwards with some Pace's Dairy Ann. =] mmm. The next day was also my Mom's birthday... the big 3-0! Haha. I hope she had a happy birfday!

Last weekend we took a girls trip to St. George to go to the Tuacahn (?) theater and see Annie. We stayed in a pretty sweet condo in Santa Clara, and had an all around great time. I wish I wasn't pregnant as a Whale so I could have had some more quality pool time, but due to the fact I am not in the middle of my best bikini days, and I didn't want to overheat my womb, I monitored my time in the rays very carefully. AND I only had ONE traumatic episode in the pool. Don't worry everything was fine, and I didn't give birth in a Chlorine bassinet. My child is still in her rightful home for a few more weeks. Note to self... trying to tread ice cold water while 8 months pregnant calls for extremely painful stomach charley horses and cramping. As usual the girls all had a few silly moments, and we all had a blast together! I can't wait for next year! As you have most likely noticed from the previous pictures is that I am a ginormous whale. Yes, I am ready to pop. I am 35 weeks, and feel like I should be 78 weeks. I am so ready to be done, and I keep getting different weird little sicknesses and I can't handle it. I swear swine flu or west nile will get the best of me one of these days. I have my first baby shower on Saturday. I am pretty stoked on that... can't wait to get more cute baby stuff. I just feel like I am so close that it should just be here already. Pregnancy is over rated. Anywho... that is enough of an update. Gotta stay a little mysterious. =] Adios! =]
